We’ve stayed at this resort for fall break the last 3 years in a row, this was the worst experience we’ve had. The amenities have fall short, hotel staff, and food experience was sub par. They “upgraded” my room to east wing which was horrible! No tub, no blackout curtains, no dresser, and shower was so cramped! We had ants everywhere. Worst part was the conventions they had on which made for the experience to be less than relaxing with drunk adults roaming all over the resort. We will choose another place to stay next time with our family.

I will say that the beginning of my stay was fine and the front end staff was trying to make sure that all was well with my stay. However after the check in staff left or went home no one was interested in my problems with the room. The air conditioner stayed full blast all night and there was no auto for it at all. After the first night of NO sleep I asked for someone to come up and look at it or at the least show me what was the problem, I was promised 2 times and I waited for maintenance to call or show up NO one did anything! Then after waiting for 2 hours and around the hotel I decided that we should just go to dinner, I called downstairs for a reservation at Voyagers and was told that its slow and we do not need one, after showing up at latitudes 30 they asked us if we wanted Voyagers and we said yes and was shown the Manager Soto? I believe. His attitude was so bad we decided to eat at latitudes after speaking with the manager at latitudes about our experience he said no problem I will seat you immediately, and he did. After sitting there for 15 minutes with a menu and no water and no service we left for a restaurant off premises, simply put there are so many restaurants in and around orange beach that I don't need the lack of attentiveness that this so called resort offers. Upon checkout the little blond girl didn't even say thank you for staying, have a nice day was everything OK, Nothing. I then mentioned what had happened and still nothing! amazing to me you pay 249 and night and this is the attitude customers get. First experience at this hotel was not a good one I will rethink my stay at another next time, especially since I was doing a site visit.
