Gourmet dining, gourmet diving

by DWEW832019

We have been to Little Cayman Island for diving twice before; one of those times we decided to visit Pirates Point because we had heard the food was the best on the island. We were not disappointed, and because of that experience, when we wanted to return we elected to stay at PP for the entire trip. We were met promptly at the airport and were checked into our room within 20 minutes. It couldn't have been easier. The room was newly remodeled with high-end bath fixtures and an a/c unit that was efficient and easy to operate. We love the 9:00 a.m dive departure as we are not super early-birds. And every meal was perfect. This is not your average SCUBA resort food. The chef even played the violin for us in the evenings after dinner. The dive operation is also excellent, with the perfect combination of safety and "freedom" - our dives were deep, but in ever case we had plenty of time for lovely 15-30 foot safety stops on the top of the wall. If you've never dived at Little Cayman Island, you won't be disappointed. And if you love excellent food and lovely accommodations, Pirates Point is your place.

Eat, dive, chill

I love Pirates Point! It was here that I got into diving. I've been 3 times and the other guests have been amazing each time. The food provided is phenomenal (seriously, OMG good). You can relax by the pool or in hammocks, drive, snorkel, or explore the island from here. Little Cayman is a small island; you're not going to find a lot to do here outside of water activities and the weather does take a toll on appliances. But if you're looking for a relaxing vacation, interesting people, and good food, this is the place.
