Stayed at the inn

If you are looking for something quaint, comfortable, close to quiet beach, general store with ice cream, this is a great place to be. Kids loved staying in the two bedroom suite. Tv, wifi and bbq on site was great. Totally recommend if you are looking for a little getaway with the kids.

Spent one night and had a lovely breakfast

It's a lovely old-fashioned spot, with a good matress, pretty room though small. We are asked to shower if we've used sun lotion, not part of my routine getting in late after music festival, but the request was because the local water interacts with sun lotion.

AS long as you are not a demanding sort of traveler, you will love the charm of "downtow" port albert, which consists of teh inn and general store, next to the river and rainbow trout management site...a bit like being near an old mill.
Angus could not be more gracious.
