Great Family Holiday !!

This place is great if you are travelling with kids, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the gardens are awesome & they have plenty of things to do with kids. My only comment is that the bathrooms could use an update !! We had a great time !!!

A lovely retreat about 20 minutes away from downtown Cajamarca

This gracious inn welcomed us hospitably even though Expedia had botched the reservation. We had the place nearly to ourselves in the off-season, very much appreciated the comfortable beauty that surrounded us and readiness to please in every way. With their help, we had a wonderful driver (Saul) to take us to Cumbe Mayo and the baths of the Inca. We also had a super-lame, supposedly English-speaking driver to take us to Kuntur Wasi. I don't blame the inn for this, but do be on your guard if you request that they arrange an English-speaking guide. Back at the inn, consider taking them up on their trout-fishing lessons (we missed our chance at this), and by all means order the trout at dinner!
