Veterans Cenotaph March

Hotel was as expected for a Premier Inn, great location. As I was here for the veterans march, I think that the hotel should offer discounts for these dates to veterans, most of them are all pensioners and the hotels are not cheap.

Could Not Be More Central !

by Robert T

Normally I stay at the St Pancras Premier Inn when I visit London. On this occasion I was staying two nights so wanted to be a bit more central. Pushed the boat out to stay at this Premier Inn instead.

It is literally in the middle of Leicester Square, just down a side street off the main square. The entrance is not huge but is easy to find. There is nothing on the ground floor, Reception is a short lift trip to the second floor.

Check in was quick and friendly and I had a room on the fourth floor. On opening the door it had all he features you expect in a Premier Inn. The bedding, the wardrobes, the purple runner on the bed.

Was a double room but to be honest other than the bed, there was not much room. Considered asking for a move briefly. Then decided "no just me, just here to sleep" and decided to stay. Room was small and clean, if a little dated. Had one smallish window with a brilliant view of the square. Then I went out - you don't go to London to stay in your room !

Didn't get in until midnight. Noticed the queue outside the nightclub under the hotel. On getting to my room could hear the muffled music from downstairs and outside. Higher rooms you might not notice it at all. Did not disturb me though, feel asleep and had a good night.

Next morning the usual excellent Premier Inn breakfast - always a selling point of these hotels. Friendly and helpful staff present in the smallish dining room.

All in all a good experience. Excellent location. Bit small and dated but in the location its in, very good value for money.

Well definitely stay again
