Reviews

Great employees, rooms, breakfast not so much

by spelkey56

I’m a choice privileges member so I stay at everything from 2 star to 4 star. I think this hotel is doing the best they can with what they have and the employees are so nice and accommodating but it’s gotten a little bit run down. I’ve included some pics that are fair in showing some really nice things about the place and the not so nice things about the place. I first arrived and my room smelled terrible of must and mold even though I couldn’t find anything. The desk chair was broken and I couldn’t adjust it up to reach the desk. I asked for another room and they were very accommodating. The next room smelled half as bad and the chair adjusted but over time would sink down to the lowest adjustment. I would just adjust it, no big deal. I shouldn’t be too hard on the breakfast cause I really shouldn’t expect too much. Sometimes there are hard boiled eggs and sometimes there aren’t (my go to cause I’m type 2 diabetic) otherwise ok. I’m from the northwest so it’s hard to find good coffee. This hotel worked out generally for me based on what I needed it for. Next trip might check out Jackson.

Nice for the area.

Hotel is probably one of the nicest for the area, but aged and going through a renovation. Most of the rooms are ok. Clean rooms, decent complimentary breakfast, good coffee, and price is relevant to the stay.
