Located just off the interstate, this hotel is near a variety of attractions for families. The Cheaha State Park offers a variety of outdoor activities like mountain biking and hiking. The Talladega Superspeedway is nearby as is the Anniston Museum of Natural History. Families will enjoy seeing natural history exhibits such as environments of Africa, ancient Egypt, and birds of the Americas. The reasonable admission cost is great for families. Families can then come back to the hotel to enjoy the free hot breakfast and the seasonal outdoor pool. The pet-friendly hotel policy allows all the family members to vacation together.

Overnight stay

Very nice place to stay. Probably had the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on in a hotel. The beds are very high off of the floor. Room was clean plus had new wood flooring. Great large flat screen TV with really good reception & lots of channels. Had great WiFi reception, plus plenty of extras like coffee, tea, etc. Ideal location for shopping & restaurants. I do think they over charged for pets $25 plus they add another charge which comes off when we checked out. I didn’t understand that. Would stay there again & would recommend it. Easy check in & checkout.

Clean hotel

I stayed here after being “walked” from the courtyard on race weekend in talledega. I’ve never stayed in this type of hotel before. I travel a lot and use Marriott exclusively. In this case things outside of my control landed me here. The room was clean and I felt safe here as a solo traveler. I gave 3 stars because there’s not much to this hotel besides the room. Not a bad choice though.
