Great Support Staff

by TRAVEL1NETWORK

Support Staff (Housekeeping & Breakfast Staff) Rating is a solid 5. Ms. Melinda Jackson was extraordinary in providing support and providing requests and always with a brilliant smile. The room was clean and mattresses were firm and comfortable.
Breakfast was a common continental. Coffee was terrible.
We are local and were staying there while home was being repaired. My child became ill on the way to school and I took her to the doctor where she was diagnosed with strep throat. When I returned, I asked MARY at the front desk if I could have an extra hour to check out since it was less than an hour to check out time (10:10 am). I told her what had happened. MARY at the front desk told me that she could not give me any extra time because the hotel was fully booked and housekeeping needed to clean all the rooms. I returned to my room and and saw that rooms were available on the website, so I booked another night so I wouldn't have to move my daughter. She offered no apologies when I returned to tell her that I had booked another night. I went into the business office to print a one page application and clearly saw that printers were installed on the computer, but no printer was present. I asked MARY at the front desk if I could print one page and she told me no, stating that there was no printer for guests. Such lack of customer service skills and personality. The night desk staff person was great. We checked out the next morning and went to another local hotel.

Should've Drove On

I'll have to admit, the place was kinda shady. It really needs some TLC. Carpet needs replaced, walls patched, floors retiled, and sheets replaced.
The rooms need to be brought into this century. No place to charge your cellphone or even a plug to power a laptop. The only way was to unplug something, lamp, tv, or clock.
The night was quiet but we feared our vehicle would end up missing the next morning.
Breakfast was fairly good good a continental breakfast. Biscuits and gravy, waffles, etc.
