This was without a doubt one of the dirtiest hotels in which we have ever stayed. The paint, phone, walls and floors were filthy, the bathtub had hair and soap scum all over it, and the breakfast was terrible as well as the breakfast room being ridiculously small and dirty. The sheets and bedspreads had stains (I just hope they were washed) and my son’s bedspread had holes all through it in the quilting. The front desk staff was nice enough but that was about it. Also, their computer was down and they couldn’t print me a receipt; they promised they would email one early this morning and it is seven pm; I haven’t received one. I do not like to stay in 2.5 star hotels and this really cemented it. I have reluctantly stayed at other hotels in this chain but none were as bad as this. Nothing else was available in Selma or I would have left. (I have never written a review like this before.)

I paid nearly $600 for 3 nights for a hotel room that should have cost less than $100 a night. I was home for a funeral and since this was during the Selma Jubilee, price gouging was in full effect. This hotel is good for a pit stop and it could be better if they would address the rust around the bathroom hardware and maintain a fresher scent throughout the entire property. One of the walls needed painting.
