Go somewhere else

The advertised price was not available. We paid over $100, and received a handicapped-accessible room. There was a fiberglass shower, which, the next morning, we found to have a 2' long crack in the floor, which had been epoxied. But there was a fresh crack we did not see, and wife got toe stuck in the crack while showering. Neither Quality Inn Corporate nor the local operator gave a crap about it. "You should have asked for a different room," as if we wanted to take the time just before departure to move to a different room. This room should never have been rented in this condition.

We used my debit card just once in the area - at this motel. Days later, the fraud department of our credit union called me, to ask me about several charges on my card in the Birmingham / Trussville area, which we had not made.

Disappointed with room 305

by britondabayou

We had little choice in hotels as we were traveling with a pet. We stayed in room 305. The chair in the room was heavily stained as was the carpet. I assume from previous pets. The room smelt musty and we had to crank up the air to become comfortable. It had been running on low and was not on cool, hence the weird smell. The sheets were clean but the top cover on the bed was also stained.
I have a hard job believing this hotel had been recently updated, unless they deliberately didn’t bother with this room and designated it “the pet room”. Would be interested to see if others had a problem with this room
Breakfast is very basic. Eggs, sausage, biscuits but no ketchup, mustard etc. waffles, toast and jelly, muffins, yoghurt and cereal. Apple and orange juice and coffee.
