Walking in, the first thing you notice are the granite floors, but then look up, and you’ll see the custom-made Waterford chandeliers above, creating a luxurious, welcoming feel to the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center in Rockford. Not far from I-90, this hotel is a short drive to Chicago or Milwaukee, with both only about an hour and a half away. Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) is a mere 20-minute drive from the hotel, which provides for a fairly easy family commute. Offering all three mealtimes, from salad to pizza or from pasta to seafood, Forest City Pub provides delicious meals without having to leave the hotel, allowing families to return to their luxurious rooms right after dinner. Families can also relax and unwind in the cozy pool and hot tub.
Within a short drive, families can take a day trip to Chicago or Milwaukee, or they can stick around Rockford and visit The Burpee Museum of Natural History, tour the Anderson Japanese Garden, or celebrate the roots of Rockford’s most notable celebrities, Cheap Trick, by touring the city to explore the band’s roots.

This was a nice stay while I was in town for business. The staff was friendly and always greeted me when I came in and made sure that I had everything that I needed. I would stay here again on future trips to the area.
Convenient to the Interstate. Room was comfortable and clean. No smoking allowed. Unfortunately, it was overpriced for my needs as a single traveller just looking for a place to sleep. I highly recommend it for couples/families, though.
