Reviews

Used to love this place. Never Again.

by AmyBullington

We’ve stayed here, at least 10-15 times in last 10 years. Always been very happy. Stayed one night, looking for 2nd night. I believe a 2nd night was available. Denied 2nd night, *probably* because I had a “talk” with front desk. My “issue” was considered by several individuals, and I mentioned I’m not here to complain, or “air” my issues on reviews. However, my issue was viewed by owner, etc., who NEVER showed his face. Never addressed, other than offering a 2nd room, which may or may not have same issue. No face to face with owner. No discount for dealing with a creature issue I’ve EVER seen in Colorado. So, I will never stay here again. Always a very pleasant place to stay, nice accommodations! Continental breakfast is so-so, which I can easily deal with. Being “pandered” by staff, and not offered anything more beyond a room that ( in my words...) “May or may not be bug infested, even slightly....” And WHO wants to change rooms at 9:45 pm?

Quaint Little Motel

by woobadaba

This is an older one level motel, at the Colorado River and Glenwood Canyon. The motel is family run by people who obviously have pride in their business and know about customer service. My room was spotless, the towels were white and fluffy soft, the outdoor pool and jacuzzi was an oasis of family fun and relaxation, and the grounds were well taken care of. Our room was spacious enough for a family of 4...never felt cramped. No litter, nothing broken and the extra touch of flowers all throughout the grounds told me there is pride in ownership. I would definitely stay here again with my family.
