Overview

Located just off the interstate in the quiet eastern suburbs of El Paso, the newly renovated Red Roof Inn offers quality amenities at an affordable price. The standard double rooms are ideal for a family of three or four, and include free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, a mini-refrigerator, and microwave. There’s no free breakfast, but plenty of free coffee in the lobby. For your morning meal, you’ll find a nice variety of restaurants up and down the interstate within minutes of the hotel, as well as several large grocery stores. There’s no pool or fitness center, but you’ll appreciate the Red Roof Inn’s clean and comfortable rooms that aren’t costing you an unreasonable rate.

The Red Roof Inn is about 10 miles from the El Paso Airport, easily reached via the freeway. Within 15 minutes of leaving the hotel, you’ll be pulling up to the El Paso Zoo, where kids can feed giraffes, count the stripes on a zebra, hiss at venomous snakes, and climb a massive treehouse playground. A few minutes further down the freeway and you’ll be in downtown El Paso, with its eclectic mix of museums, galleries, shops, and restaurants. Plan things right and you can enjoy a minor league baseball game in the new award-winning downtown stadium. Your hotel’s location on the eastern edge of town puts you close to the fascinating ancient pictographs in Hueco Tanks State Park. It’s a good place to experience some desert hiking. With its affordable room rates, comfortable beds, and quiet location, the Red Roof Inn makes a great choice for your family’s Texas vacation.

Over priced for one night stop

by Anthony M

I was traveling through el paso and extremely tired. Attempted to find rooms at 3 other hotels all were sold out. Went to Red Roof and was charged $150 with taxes for one night and 2 beds. I took it rather than try to drive exhausted. The room was decent but not worth $150 only one bar of soap and one tube of shampoo. The coffee maker in the room didn't work. The coffee in the lobby was cold. Great way to take care of travelers in need.

Dishonest staff and pervert manager/owner

by Jojo D

Okay I'm not even sure where to begin so I will start at the beginning. On the 28th of July I checked into the Red Roof Inn East location in El Paso Texas with expectations of a long-term stay of at least a month. immediately upon check and I had to change rooms because the bathroom was dirty on the original room which was not a big deal to me so my trip proceeded and I had no problems until about 2 weeks in when I went to pee and I was informed that I would have to check out of my room for two hours and then check back in not understanding what this was about I spoke with the owner who pulled me to the side and propositioned me for sexual favors when I declined his favors he then said disregard I'm sorry you're not that type of woman I apologize you can go ahead and check the end stay in your room you don't have to check out well my trip continued my stay continue without any problems and on the 31st day I went to pee and also inquire about my refund for the tax exemption which the law states that I am entitled to and again I was told I have to check out for 2 hours and check back in well unbeknownst to me and this time frame they called the El Paso Police Department and informed them that I was involved in some sort of illegal activities which I was not I was confronted by undercover detectives I was embarrassed they searched my room and of course found nothing so then I proceeded to check back in as I was told that I could do and I was denied check in however 3 days before this incident occurred I saw the manager at about 2 in the morning and I assumed he had been drinking and he wants again proposition me for half an hour with anal sex again I decline at this point I was very upset he apologized as well so now I have been calling for over a month trying to get in contact with the manager in regards to the refund that the law says that I am titled to and every time I call Erica the front desk person tells me he's not available he's not there when I threatened to call the corporate office I am there but we're just franchise insinuating that there's nothing that can be done at this point I just want what I am entitled to by law and I will never deal with these people again however I am considering seeking legal counsel for defamation of character and the unwanted calls the police department as well as the prop the propositions for sex from the owner so please stay away from this place it is extremely unprofessional unless you're an escort or prostitute in the owner might give you a room for free in exchange for favors
