Nephew's Wedding

by minac1001

Myself and some of my family went to my nephew's wedding in Mexico. This hotel was really lovely, catered for everyone, eg adults and children. The beach was located literally within walking distance. The people at the hotel were extremely helpful especially Lorena, Daniel who helped serve in various restaurants. Bovis who helped with the towels and entertainment in the day/evening. They all work very hard.
There was a Italian, Mexican and Japanese Restaurant. The Japanese restaurant is not included in the all inclusive option. They also had a buffet restaurant for breakfast, afternoon and dinner. Also had a snack bar by the pool. They had different entertainment every night which was good. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely like to go back. Many excursions near the hotel.

Nice Resort But Food is Not Good

by TwoOnTravel2011

Beautiful property, clean, well-kept, super friendly staff, easy to get to Cozumel via ferry and Chichen Itza for a great excursion, but the food was really lacking. Salt seemed to be the only seasoning or worse, no seasoning at all. The mixed veggie juice and fresh fruit saved breakfast, all the beans had chorizo, the chicken had no taste, the beef was good in spurts. We bought the premium package, so we had access to the three other restaurants for dinner. The Italian option was the best, but the service there was really poor. The Mexican option was OK and the Japanese restaurant? Wow, salt and soy, no real cuisine, yet this was touted as a plus as a premium guest.

The employees here are top notch; but the food takes away from the value of an all-inclusive resort. The local Mayan food at Chichen Itza was the best we had during our stay. Hope they can work on this as it was a minus in an otherwise delightful vacation!!
