Apollopalooza 2019

by KESinMN21

Went to hear former NASA employees during a special event celebrating Apollo's 50th Launch. The room was hot and stuffy thought it was because housekeeping kept the doors open while flipping rooms. It wasn't - the mechanicals just couldn't keep up and it was miserable sleeping. Forgot a dress, called twice & was twice sent to Loss Prevention's voice mail. How Loss Prevention is Lost & Found I can't guess but needless to say never heard from them & never got my dress back!

Lovely and Friendly but....

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel has great amenities (gym is great), the staff is friendly and accommodating, It is clean, and the food is delicious - I ate dinner one night in the lobby lounge. There is a Starbucks at the bar!! The room was large and the water hot - I love a really hot shower and this did not disappoint.

But, if you do not like to live out of a suitcase, there is no dresser. I did learn that you can ask for one and they will roll in something with drawers. If you want to relax in a chair - there is none in the room with 2 queen size beds - only a sort of desk chair. If you do not want to spend the day smelling like kitchen herbs, bring your own shampoo and conditioner - theirs is filled with rosemary and mint. I did not have a car, but they do charge for parking in the garage.

I would definitely return to the hotel!!
