Brampton's basic accommodation!

by ChanderK37

Halls of residence, reminded me of university accommodation - very basic - so do not expect much. However if a big group staying then cheap and cheerful, you can make the most of it. Near to the shops and amenities and a central location.

Comfortable Stay

This is a dorm style room. Two Bedrooms, small kitchen. Daily service to refresh the rooms. The towels are thin but changed daily. There is a refrigerator and microwave, however you will need to bring in your own utensils, plates, paper towels, dish towels etc. Both rooms have a TV, bed and desk. There is coffee, tea and apples in the lobby @ breakfast. One huge problem is the handicap issue. You can pull up to the front door to unload, however the handicap parking is a distance away from the building. When checking in if you need a room close, be sure to tell them or you may receive one far in the corner away from the elevators. The rooms are not painted after the students leave, so where they had things hung on the walls, it is a mess. I found the beds to be comfortable. We stayed 4 days. There are no immediate eating places without driving, a huge grocery store is available down the street to stock the room for your stay. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful, we had a day staff person who had no personality and not helpful during our stay. I would go back here, it is very central for my visits with family and friends.
