Room for improvement

This was a reasonably comfortable hotel in a great location but there are things that could be better. We booked a two bedroom suite which is an awesome feature in Cambridge for families. The beds were not especially comfortable. It was a queen bed in each room, but one of the rooms was big enough to easily support a king bed and that would have been more comfortable for the parents. The furniture is pretty dated although the carpet is in good shape. Same with the bathrooms. Functional but dated. Breakfast was nice and there is a Starbucks attached to the hotel and lots of great restaurants nearby. The TVs are nice. It is an easy walk to the Kendall Square T station. But for the price, we could have just had two rooms at the Marriott which is right in front of the Kendall Square T. The Le Meridien hotel near Central Square is another good, slightly more luxurious option, to stay in the Marriott world.
