Overview

The Residence Maldives is the epitome of over the water living. Luxury villas can accommodate two adults with extra cribs or cots available for tiny travelers. Each villa comes complete with a plasma television, iPod docking station, luxurious bath amenities, Nespresso machine, and a private bar for the adults. Villas with private pools can also be booked. The onsite buffet restaurant serves meals that are included in the all-inclusive price. Families can enjoy everything that the region has to offer, thanks to the resort’s water sports facilities. Snorkeling and diving spots near the hotel are home to colorful schools of fish, black and white tip sharks, and sea turtles.

Very Special

Location, resort and staff make the Residence Maldives a very special destination! Stayed in an ocean villa with pool and was not disappointed. Was able to cycle over to neighbouring resort and explore, went on an amazing dolphin sighting cruise and was constantly entertained by the amazing local wildlife. Sharks, eagle rays, turtles, dolphins, whales, octopus, bats and thousands of reef fish! All of the staff were helpful, pleasant, not too overbearing and all worked together which made a real difference. They made sure we were met by a member of staff throughout all of our transfers to and from the hotel, which again made everything a lot easier, especially with luggage.
If looking at visiting the Maldives then I would strongly recommend checking this place out.

A really memorable holiday and one we would hope to repeat in the future. Absolutely everything was thought about by The Residence staff and it was an incredibly relaxing holiday. The food was absolutely superb with a good choice for everyone.
