Ahwahnee Dining Room

Yosemite Valley Village, Yosemite National Park, CA

Feast on Wild Caught White Shrimp Flatbread, Beef Carpaccio in Oxtail Broth, or Seared Liberty Duck Confit under a 35-food high beamed ceiling with floor-to-ceiling windows and grand chandeliers. The Ahwahnee offers more casual dining as well, but its main dining room is the place in the park to eat in style. Dinner is a relatively formal event here and the restaurant imposes a “resort casual” dress code on all guests including children over four. But breakfast and lunch, which are also served daily, as well as Sunday brunch, are more casual affairs. This is a large dining room, where drop-ins have a decent chance of being accommodated. Still, to be on the safe side, reservations are recommended.
