Part of the Abaco Beach Resort, it’s actually two restaurants. The main restaurant sheens with elegance and water views for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Perhaps better suited to families, the Pool Bar serves from 10-10. The menu covers all Bahamian and American casual eats: pizza, conch fritters, lobster bites, seafood sandwiches and wraps, and burgers. In addition, a kids’ menu serves pint-sized meals with fries and a slice of melon.
Inside, breakfast ranges from pancakes to lobster benedict to traditional Bahamian specialties such as boiled grouper and stew fish. The lunch menu is similar to but slightly more extensive than at the pool bar. Dinner goes formal and fine: macadamia nut-crusted grouper with coconut citrus sauce, surf and turf with Bahamian lobster, rack of lamb and guava layered cake.
