Part of the Manatee County Beach public access complex, it’s a great way to keep kids occupied come meal time. Dining is right on the sand or on the paved patio under umbrellas with plastic tables and chairs. It’s famous for its $5.99 all-you-can-eat pancakes special with three sausages, but the place also serves lunch and dinner with window-order service.

Kids’ meals are for ages 8 and younger: grilled cheese sandwich, hot dog or chicken nuggets with fries or fruit for $4.99. The Anna Maria Island restaurant also serves typical beach food for grown-ups and specialty items such as shrimp and grits and funnel cakes. Live entertainment happens nightly.
