You don’t have to stay at Jerome Grand Hotel to experience its unique, haunted history. Instead, make a reservation at the Asylum Restaurant — appropriately named for the hotel’s former role as a hospital for injured miners. The dim-lit, cozy restaurant overlooks the seemingly barren valley below, serving fantastic views and fantastic meals for lunch and dinner. Plus, the wine list is amazingly extensive (the wine menu is 12 pages). Lunch is served 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner is served 5 to 9 p.m. The restaurant is best suited for families with older children.
