This casual but artsy restaurant is small so expect a wait, especially for breakfast. But it is worth the wait. On any given day, you can find lovers of breakfast lined up outside the Blue Fox Cafe, waiting to fill up on hot plates of bacon, eggs, French toast, 10 types of eggs benedict, from-scratch griddle cakes, and more — all sourced fresh and local when possible. Lunch is tasty as well, with gourmet burgers, quesadillas, salads, and sandwiches. The beverages menu is as extensive as the food, with lots of tea, coffee drinks, juices, sodas, beer, cider, and breakfast cocktails.  This is an excellent breakfast spot to visit before beginning a day of exploring Victoria.
