Families will find multiple Cows locations throughout Prince Edward Island, but the Capital Drive location also offers quick, self-guided tours of the creamery. What began has an old-fashioned ice cream recipe in 1983 (the recipe itself dates back to the time of “Anne of Green Gables”) is now moo-ing all across Prince Edward Island. Kids will love all of the 32-plus ice cream flavors. But butter, chocolate covered potato chips and cheese are also Cows Creamery favorites. Take a short walk through the Cows Factory at this location and watch how it’s all made. And the original and comical T-shirts, mugs and other items in the gift shop will have families laughing, too.
