De Vito Waterfront is a Mediterranean, Italian and seafood restaurant based in Southport, Gold Coast. One of the eatery’s stand-out feature is the fact that they have a singing chef — David de Vito — who entertains as well as cooks. When David is not singing his heart out (or while he is) there is often music and entertainment going on while people dine. There are highchairs available at De Vito’s and children are most welcome.

The restaurant is suitable for a casual family meal with or without alcoholic drinks for adults. The modern Italian menu caters to a wide range of tastes and ages. The entree features everything from bloody Mary oysters to pan fried gnocchi. For main entrees, there are the classic Italian pasta dishes, salads, hearty meat dishes and more with beer battered fries and vegetables to accompany. On the dessert menu, there’s a choice of chocolate mousse, ice cream (or should I say gelato) and creme brulee among other sweet treats.
