Located in the popular Café Quarter, Gio’s as the locals call it, is really as much Welsh as it is Italian. The owner was born and raised in Cardiff of Italian parents. An energetic “everybody-knows-everybody” kind of place, kids are as welcomed and appreciated here as the one who pays the bills. From simple spaghetti and meatballs for the kids to seafood specialties, it’s all delicious, and at reasonable prices.
