This 1860 home was once the home of the Pioneer Flour Mills’ family and features an award-winning restaurant that is open for breakfast and lunch. Take a tour of the home and the museum, then enjoy a meal in the Art Nouveau-styled space. The restaurant features stained glass and a plant motif that carries outdoors to the covered patio. Breakfast is served all day and includes breakfast tacos, waffles, pancakes and breakfast platters. Lunch items include salads ad enchiladas. The restaurant is open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

We stopped on the way to the King William historic district. Glad we didn’t make a special trip. Two tiny rooms of not much. A gift shop. Then the restaurant which looked inviting and smelled…
