Just down the road in nearby Dania is one of the best ice cream parlors in all of Broward County. Jaxson’s is an old-fashioned ice cream parlor, offering more than just ice cream but a full menu of salads, burgers, wraps, platters, sandwiches, chicken and more. A kids’ menu and old-fashioned candy shop are also available. Jaxson’s is famous for its “Kitchen Sink,” a jumbo sundae big enough to serve four. (It’s so large they charge a per person change for it.) Jaxson’s is open 11:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and at noon on Sunday. It serves its full menu until 8 p.m., and is open for ice cream until 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until midnight on weekends.
