Adorable, buzzing Julienne Tomatoes, a — what else? — tomato-themed restaurant in the heart of Petoskey’s Gaslight district, is nothing to throw tomatoes at. Making use of local farm fresh eggs, artisan breads from nearby Crooked Tree Breadworks, and Boar’s Head Bacon, Julienne’s offers a plentiful breakfast and lunch menu, with quiche of the day, soups and sandwiches, and lip-smacking pastries. (The New York Times called their chocolate chip cookies ‘the best in town’). The restaurant closes at 4 p.m. but you can grab a frozen dinner to go (shepherd’s pie and lasagna are two options) and heat it up in your hotel kitchenette.
Open every day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
