This downtown café has two dining rooms — one that’s more casual and colorful, another with white linens and candles. Flavorful entrees, wood-fired pizzas (gluten-free crusts available), Mediterranean-influenced salads and sandwiches are served alongside one of Wisconsin’s widest wine selections.
Lake Street Cafe has been honored with Wine Spectator awards since 2003.
Fresh baked breads and scratch desserts bookend interesting entrée options, like scallops in curry and gumbo including oysters and rabbit. The kids’ menu offers grilled and chilled vegetables, in addition to the typical chips, fries or fruit sides. Closed Sundays.
