Open seasonally from October to April, this restaurant is located in the center of the Provencher Bridge so the water views don’t get much better! It’s the only North America restaurant located on a bridge. Serving lunch and dinner, Mon Ami Louis draws from a French and Louisiana inspiration. Some menu items include fish, house made gnocchi, chicken, burgers or steak.

Our only complaint is that because of its awesome bridge location, it’s not the easiest restaurant to access. Parking can be found on the St. Boniface side of the bridge or at The Forks, and then visitors must walk up the pedestrian walkway along the bridge to reach the restaurant. This is also why the restaurant is closed in the winter because that walk would be quite literally freezing during a Winnipeg winter.
