Otto’s Place

100 Bouthiller Street, Galena, 61036, IL

Located across from the cute-as-a-button, historic train depot and the Galena Visitor’s Bureau, is charming Otto’s Place. Housed in a building dating back to the 1800s, this adorable restaurant is a local favorite, best known for its breakfast. It is also open for lunch, and dinner is served on Friday and Saturday nights. The restaurant features work of local artists, which changes each month. Although there’s no kids menu, there’s plenty for kids to choose from, including pancakes, eggs or french toast for breakfast, or a grilled cheese or PBJ for lunch. Otto’s isn’t the place for the youngest kids, since there are no high chairs, but there are two booster seats on hand for toddlers. Otto’s prides itself on serving healthy home cooking, along with organic and vegetarian options.
