The view is the best part of dining at Pelican Alley, which overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway beneath the drawbridge from mainland to Nokomis Beach. The longstanding establishment is known for its casual atmosphere and, on the menu, beef and bean chili, seafood chowder, burgers, baked grouper with shrimp and blue crab, and seafood saute. Lunch and dinner menus offer a variety of tapas and appetizers for noshing. The kids’ menu includes the usual suspects.
