Pho Binh, Saigon

Restaurant

Pho Binh, Saigon

7 Ly Chinh Thang St. | District 3, Ho Chi Minh City

Pho, pronounced “fuh,” is the only item on the menu here, but you have the choice of beef or chicken. Not only is this a very typical pho shop, but it is also a national historic site. It was here, in the living quarters above the shop, that the 1968 Tet Offensive was planned and executed. Although you’ll pay a few dong more for your soup, the owners will offer to take you upstairs to see the room, the maps and the actual desk where much of the offensive was planned.
