Porto’s is nothing like your average corner bakery! When you first enter Porto’s (after potentially waiting in a line outside just to enter during busy times), you will be amazed by the offerings and the size of the operation.
There is a section for coffee drinks, smoothies and fresh squeezed juices. There is an area for full-size cakes. Then there is the bakery section, offering countless pastries, cookies and mini desserts.
But it’s also not just about sweets! There is a cafe section that offers quiche, sandwiches, soup, tamales, empanadas and Porto’s famous Cubano sandwich. Place your order, grab a table inside or outside or take it to go and enjoy the greatness!
Kids will also enjoy watching the treats be made. A large glass-enclosed area stands tall at the front of the store and is where some of the treats get assembled. Kids will be mesmerized by the process and won’t mind standing in line a little longer than average.
6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday
Things to Know
Be prepared for multiple long lines, but it’s worth the lengthy wait. You can also order your coffee drink from any of the food lines so there’s no need to wait in two separate lines for food and drink.
