Families wanting to dine with a view might consider a stop at the Rainbow Room, located within the Lake Powell Resort. The restaurant is open from 6:00am- 10:00am for breakfast and then again from 5:00pm — 9:00pm for dinner. If you’re coming for the view though, do plan to come for breakfast or an early dinner, as there will be NO view once the sun goes down.

Breakfast features an all-you-can eat breakfast buffet or a small handful of a la carte selections. The dinner menu has more options, featuring about 10 different appetizers, a variety of salads, and main entrees like prime rib, salmon, steak, and pasta. A kids’ menu is available for both breakfast and dinner. The kids’ dinner choices are cheeseburger, chicken strips, pasta, or garlic bread pizza.
