Like many Everglades area restaurants, this one has gator-appeal for kids, this time a mounted gator in the lobby of the historic lodge that holds the waterfront restaurant. Reviews are mixed on the food and service here, but meals typically revolve around fresh fish, local alligator and frog legs, deep-frying, and Southern specialties. If you have little fidgety ones, you may want to look elsewhere.
