For the most part, diners come to Stroud’s for just one thing: its James Beard award-winning fried chicken. Each piece is pan-fried the old-fashioned way, and it is delicious. All dinners include salad or homemade chicken noodle soup, choice of potatoes, green beans, gravy, and homemade cinnamon rolls. If you must have something else, other menu items include pork chops, fish, hamburger steak, and burgers. A kids’ menu features fried chicken, chicken tenders, and junior burgers.
