Other than bratwurst and schnitzel, something Germany does surprisingly well is Mediterranean food–and you’ll find some of Munich’s best at Taverna Limani. Order baked feta, moussaka, Greek salads, gyros, and seafood; children can choose specially sized “Hercules” or “Poseidon” meals. The one downside is that the location is somewhat out of the way, but if you’re up for exploring, you won’t regret the trip.
