Located near Faneuil Hall, the Union Oyster House is a part of Boston’s history, serving as not only one the oldest restaurants in the city, but also in the country. Opened in 1826 and continuously operating, the restaurant is renowned for its raw bar — you can see the fresh catch brought in from the waterfront and delivered to the backdoor of the restaurant and know you’ll have some of the freshest seafood in the city. A kids’ menu is available. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and until 10 p.m. on weekends.
