This restaurant’s spot on the patio perched above Lake Superior offers one of the sweetest spots for dinner and enjoying northeastern Minnesota’s Italian heritage. Start with salads such as the Va Bene with mixed greens, pear, gorgonzola and candied walnuts or a warm spinach and pesto salad with asparagus, artichokes, tomatoes and olives. There are close to 20 pastas (many kid-friendly) for the main course from gnocchi to fettuccini with roasted Brussels sprouts, apples, craisins and pancetta. There are a few pizzas and Panini, too.
