The elegant Stonehurst Manor resort is also home the fanciest dining room in town — an old-world sanctuary of dark wood, antique furniture, and romantic lighting. The food might be aptly described as “decadent New England cuisine”-think truffled tenderloin, baked stuff lobster, and salmon with a blueberry-balsamic glaze.
Prices aren’t cheap, but they are a fraction of what you’d pay for similar fare in the big city, and the restaurant also offers less expensive, but no less delicious sourdough flatbreads (including a Thursday night flatbread dinner special.)
