The best place in Ashland, Oregon to get a scoop of homemade ice cream, Zoey’s is a family-run cafe located a few blocks from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Most people stop in for the ice cream, but it’s also a good bet for lunch. They offer a nice selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads, and soups. We recommend the Turkey Melt Croissant with a side of roasted red pepper soup.

Be careful, though — you’ll want to save room for a waffle cone of any of dozens of flavors of ice cream. Zoey’s stays open late for the festival crowd to grab dessert after a show. During the day, the outdoor patio is a perfect spot for people-watching on Main Street.
