Families that like the idea of a vacation home but desire the services and amenities that a luxury resort can offer can have the best of both worlds at Reunion Resort. At the 2,300-acre golf resort, located six miles from Walt Disney World, fully equipped home-away-from-home rentals are furnished in decor that ranges from comfortably casual to downright palatial. Guests enjoy access to a full menu of recreational activities (golf, tennis, spa services), as well as a personal concierge who will take care of all the details, from grocery shopping to baby-sitting arrangements. For kids, there are a playground and bike rentals, as well as a camp for ages 4 to 12. However, many guests prefer to spend their time at the resort’s expansive five-acre water park. With multiple slides, waterfalls and a winding lazy river, it’s a destination unto itself.

I was sick and tired from a Las Vegas Family Gathering. Had been held hostage for 9 hours in Dallas TX due to electronic issues with the plane. Got home finally. Was too tired to get anything done. I asked my Daughter to go and check in for me. She was coming from Riverview, FL. She has LUPUS!!! This was to give her a break and have some fun.
It turned out to be a NIGHTMARE! They would not let her check-in and did not want her on the property. My husband, Roger and I spent another 8-10 hours trying to get access to our condo, This made us more tired. Therefore, this event was distressing and stupid. They insisted that we had to PRESENT the credit card in person, over and over again. After another 8-9 hours some one made a difference (can not remember his name), we were able to send a form with the credit card info. Almost as bad as the airlines.
Our second golf trip to Reunion with seven other couples. We were not disappointed. Our condo which we shared with another couple was huge! Very nicely appointed and spotless. We played the Watson and Palmer courses and both were fun and in good shape. For each couple, two rounds of golf and an overnight stay came to $560. An excellent value!
