Jackson Lake Island, the set of “Big Fish,” is a place for boating, fishing, and checking out the little houses from the movie. Several local parks, including Pratt Park, are great for families to take a stroll, ride bikes, or play on the playground and splash pad. At the hotel, families can enjoy the free continental breakfast and the included cable TV. Guestrooms for families have two double beds and can accommodate up to four people.

You Get What You Pay For

The man at the front desk was very nice. The price was low. The place is old and tiny. 2 story, outside doors. Beds appeared to be clean, not too noisy during the night. Smallest bathroom I’d ever seen. Breakfast non-existent. Not really bad, just not good either.

Economical and right off of the interstate

We stopped here and slept on our way to Gulf Shores. It is close to gas stations and restaurants and you can't beat the price. The shower worked well, beds were comfortable and the room was clean. If you are expecting something upscale then I suggest you find somewhere else but for a place to get some sleep at a great price it was perfect.
