My normal "brand" hotel is not in this town and I was there for work. Chose this as top rated, had never heard of it before. I was pleasantly surprised to find one of the most modern rooms I've stayed in. Lovely bed, attention to detail in the lobby and throughout the property. No outside noise, my room was on the river. Dining room was inviting but did not dine there as had previous plans. Would definitely try next time. The complimentary breakfast was the BEST i have had in my travelling for work time of 5 years. Homemade quiche squares, muffins, pastries, all prepared on site by the looks of it. Attention to detail here as well. The rate is comparable to other accommodations in the area. I suspect during high season booking ahead would be advisable. The only , really insignificant thing I would say is that my room was across from the ice machine and it is either making ice or someone is using it part way through the night. I would return here in a heartbeat whether my brand hotel was in this town or not. Loved it. Good attention to cleanliness and a super comfy bed.

We were there for five nights. The small, cozy hotel belonging to a charming family, situated on a very small and quiet street two minutes from the center of town, two
minutes from Lake Huron, two minutes from the beautiful harbour of Goderich and few seconds from road 21. Between the hotel and the main road, a beautiful courtyard and the Mytland River block all the possibility of car noise to disturb.
Very large room, spacious kingsize beds, mini fridge, TV and DVD and a rich movie library is available to guests
The hotel is beautifully decorated, the breakfast room is nice and the breakfast is excellent and served in a beautiful and very pleasant way.
Great location, good people, excellent service. What else is there to say?
