This Marriott rises 39 stories in the sky, offering beautiful views of San Francisco. Located south of Market Street, it sits next to the Moscone Convention Center. Within walking distance, the Yerba Buena Gardens provide a playground, skating rink, bowling center and general outdoor entertainment for children. Museums and cultural attractions are nearby, as well. Certain museums are especially good for families, such as the California Academy of Sciences, the Exploratorium and Zeum. The hotel has an indoor pool that is perfect for kids. Guests eat well at the Mission Grille, an onsite restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. Named for its awe-inspiring scenery, the View is a bar and restaurant on the top floor of the hotel. Over 1,300 rooms and suites at the Marriott Marquis are modernly decorated with standard amenities. Families may want to stay in a larger room or a suite, which includes a living area and sofa.

The hotel was amazing. The staff was great and helped with sightseeing tours. Room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Great experience. The hotel is close to street cars and buses. I will stay here on my next visit.
Great location on Mission St. Easy to get around from here in the center of the city. I’ve stayed at this property before. I’m happy to report that it has been redone & the rooms are brand new. The regular rooms are just that. The executive suites are much more spacious with a large sitting area set away from the sleeping area.
