Overview

Sandy Beach Resort is a hotel with beautifully modern architecture. The resort consists of the newer Palmetto Tower and the original Magnolia Tower. One-, two- and three-bedrooms condominiums feature sweeping views of the ocean, flat-screen televisions and space to spread out. Upgraded kitchens, Jacuzzi tubs and washer/dryer units are standard in all rooms. Living rooms and dining areas lead to furnished balconies. Up to three bathrooms are in the units. For fun, Sandy Beach offers just that — a sandy beach! Also on the property are indoor and outdoor resort pools and a lazy river. An interactive water area presents dump buckets, a submarine, waterfall umbrellas and large seahorses that spit water.

Consistently great year after year!

We love to stay here in the fall and/or early spring. The staff is always helpful and the rooms are consistently maintained year after year. If there is an issue then that issue is addressed quickly. Love the location near the boardwalk and the pool area is larger than most ocean front hotels.

Sandy Beach Room was Poor!

We checked into the Sandy Beach Resort on October 26 2019 and was assigned room # 1112. We went up to our room and observed that the carpet in the main room had a hole in it and the furniture was very old. We were tired and didn't want to complain so we unpacked and moved in. Next day in the day light we further looked at the carpet and it was extremely dirty. I went to the front desk and reported the hole and the dirty condition of the carpet and the lady on duty stated that this was already reported. The old furniture was very uncomfortable and the TV was not able to receive HD picture.
If you are staying here at this resort ask to see the room before you bring all your luggage in.
I don't recommend this resort when there are many newer ones in the same area.
