So Disappointing!

by SKazZas

The entire property needs to be renovated! The carpeting and floors were damp from mildew! The stairs up to the nicest suite available needed painting as did the interior of rooms. Even the entry mats were shabby and stained. I'm spoiled with beaches living in Sarasota but was looking forward to some beautiful shells etc. The beach was filled with algae, mangrove pieces and seaweed which they are not allowed to clean up. Very ugly! The best part was the Hummus and drinks at happy hour with Heather! Towels and shower pressure was good! The pool was fine since know one would go into the gulf . Umbrella and chairs were included in the $30 a day resort fee which was excessive. We left after 1 night!

Great place to stay

Husband, granddaughter and I spent a week here in June and loved our stay.staff is wonderful and the location and proximity to shopping and restaurants can't be beat .We now live within walking distance and look forward to visiting their rooftop bar in the evenings when their renovations are complete.
