Overview

The Sheraton JFK Airport Hotel is a good option for families who have an early-morning flight out of John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, or even a late-night arrival before the drive home. The hotel is conveniently located less than 1 mile from the New York airport, and better yet, complimentary shuttle services to and from the airport are provided to all guests. Self parking is available for a nightly fee.

The Sheraton JFK Airport Hotel offers a 24-hour fitness center, business center (especially useful when you need to print out your boarding passes), and complimentary Wi-Fi. There’s also an onsite restaurant, Rosemary’s Restaurant and Lounge. There, you’ll find standard American fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily; it’s open from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. The lounge is open from 4:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. Wi-Fi is available for a fee, or you can sign up to become an SPG Member and get Wi-Fi access at no charge.

Guestrooms — some of which are pet-friendly — are equipped with one king or two double beds, in-room coffeemakers and flat-screen TVs. If you upgrade to a Club Level room, you’ll enjoy access to the Club Lounge, where complimentary breakfast, snacks, and beverages are served daily.

BAD MANAGEMENT THAT LIED

by loryp781

I previously reviewed this hotel and gave them praise for "comping" my stay after numerous problems arose after I checked in. The manger on duty, "Jessica", assured me that because there were so many legitimate problems that I did bring to management's attention the second I discovered them, she was not going to charge me for the stay. I wasn't even asking for a "free" stay, although I would have expected some reduction in price due to no tub in the room when I requested one, no easy access to the door to take my dog out, no "treat bag" upon check in for my dog, no parking even though I stressed I needed parking next to the building as I had one old, handicapped dog (that has since passed), and just a general piss-poor attitude of the front desk staff that this manager even agreed with me about. So I'm told "Oh my goodness, we need to comp your stay" and then they charge my credit card and refuse to remove the card; when I call (a dozen times) the manager is "unavailable". So my previous review was obviously premature; I trusted them to be a company of their word and they're not -- BUYER BEWARE! BAD MANAGEMENT THAT LIES!
